Old School Lives invites you to:

A fundraiser dinner for Linda Wright Hurricane Relief

with music by Todd Eckhart

February 25, 2022 | 6pm

Rivers Bend Eatery

$50 per person (Limited to 100 people)

New Orleans Blues & Gospel Singer, Linda Wright has unleashed her generosity towards Old School Lives by donating her time and musical talent for our annual fundraiser concert for the last 4 years.

We have truly been blessed and are grateful for her kindness,

music, and service to the Lord.

In August of 2021 Hurricane Ida struck New Orleans and destroyed Linda’s house and her church that she has been working so hard to restore the last few years. We were devastated by this news and would love to be able to bless her financially to help her rebuild in New Orleans.

Dine for a cause with us on Friday, February 25th in the Rivers Bend Eatery at Old School Lives. Dinner will be cooked by Kent Hill who worked in the food industry with Bobbly Flay and Emeril Lagasse. $50 per person includes a fancy dinner and musical entertainment. We invite you to join us!

About Linda Wright: Linda Wright has been singing blues, jazz, and gospel since the tender age of 13. She was inspired by the "The Supremes" and began her singing career by forming her own group called "The Diamonettes" and by singing with "The Gladiators" (known today as "The Baptiste Brothers"). After many years of music, she became a lead vocalist with "The Unstoppable Gospel Creators". She has appeared in many festivals and live, radio, and television shows, and she founded and hosted WBOK's radio talk show, "Spotlight on New Orleans". Presently she can be found every Sunday as the hostess of "The World Famous House of Blues Gospel Brunch" in New Orleans, where she is known for "taking you to church" with her inspirational, electrofying, energetic gospel show.
