The family of Richard W. Peterson (also known as Bill to family and friends from his early years; known as Dick to later friends and family) wish to honor him and the values and traditions that meant so much to him during his life by establishing a Memorial Fundin his name. This is to announce that a fund, known as the Richard William PetersonMemorial Fund, has been establish at the restored High School that he attended in Cotton, Minnesota.

       These funds will be used to promote education and awareness of the arts and life skills within the service area of Old School Lives. A primary focus will be on Heritage Arts such as pottery, weaving, food and youth activities which was reminiscent of his way of sharing his knowledge, skills and himself in life.

The halls of Old School Lives will have a designated area to memorialize him also.
